To be authorized, the company must be licensed as an air charter by the Federal Aviation Administration, meet insurance requirements of the State of Alaska, and have a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service special use permit for commercial operations in the Refuge. All the operators are private companies not affiliated with the U.S. government. This information is offered as a public service and does not constitute an endorsement by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
