U.S. Geological Survey Maps

The named areas (outlined in red) are 1:250,000 maps and the smaller letter-number areas are 1:63,360 maps. A single map showing the entire Refuge is not available from the U.S. Geological Survey because the area is too vast.

The Refuge office does not sell, produce or distribute U.S. Geological Survey maps. The following offices sell maps of Alaska, including maps of various scales covering the Arctic Refuge. They will send a free index of their maps upon request.
